Initiatives
AdventGX Team Visits Nature Tourism Sites in Mexico
AdventGX’s newest executive, Nacho Paez guided Jose Quintana and Andy Skadberg on a tour to sites throughout the state of Chihuahua, Mexico. The team’s adventure took them to some of Mexico’s most remote, scenic, and historic communities including a four hour drive through the forests and mountains of central Chihuahua and stops in Guadalupe y Calvo, the site where the first silver coins were minted in North America. Guadalupe y Calvo is also home to some of the continent’s oldest churches.

The team made the short but adventurous treak from Guadalupe y Calvo to Mohinora Peak which at more than 9,000 feet is the highest spot in the state of Chihuahua.

The last stop the team took was the town of Guachochi, and Sinforosa which is an exclusive access point to the southern part of the Copper Canyon. While visiting Sinforosa, the team took an airplane tour, flying through the canyon itself.

Projects
AdventGX Begins work on Van Horn’s Comprehensive Planning Study
AdventGX began work on a comprehensive planning study for the Town of Van Horn. The study involves conducting assessing the community’s infrastructure as well as other resources and devising a plan that will complement the ongoing efforts of Van Horn’s Economic Development Initiative. The study will provide a solid foundation for the continued support of the community’s vision for the future. Once the project is complete, AdventGX will present a comprehensive report and several detailed community maps to the Town of Van Horn. This will provide the Town’s leadership with practical information, goals, objectives, and specific recommendations that will lead the community twenty years into the future.

AdventGX Interns Experience Van Horn’s Red Rock Ranch
AdventGX interns enjoyed a four hour tour and hike at Van Horn’s Red Rock Ranch. The tour focuses on the geologic history of the region, and tourists get to view evidence of the native Americans that once inhabited the region. The interns climbed an exposure of precambrian rock, hiked to view a petroglyph and cooled their feet in a natural pool.
