Our marketing and communications team, was engaged to help the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at Texas A&M University improve recruitment and overall rankings. The Advent GX team provided them with an extensive marketing strategy and social media marketing training. We performed a competitive market analysis and devised a marketing communications strategy to grow the department’s online presence. Using a targeted social media program, inventive graphics, and through social media training for department staff, we were able to significantly increase the department’s reach online. A complete redesign of the department’s annual publication, Currents, enhanced the image of the department by presenting research and educational activities in a high quality magazine format fitting of the caliber of programs the department is undertaking.
