Here in Bryan-College Station, we are among a fortunate few communities that enjoy college-town status and rich hometown heritage.

In the spirit of historic Town and Gown traditions, we gather to build stronger ties between our beloved Texas A&M University and the Bryan-College Station community. Together, we create a stronger community and a more vibrant quality of life across campus and the entire Brazos Valley. 

2026 Town & Gown Gala featuring Texas A&M Engineering

The 2026 Town & Gown Community Celebration Gala highlighted Texas A&M Engineering and featured four area non-profit organizations: Aggie Build, The 12th Can, Feed & Father, and SOS Ministries. The evening began with a cocktail hour, followed by dinner and presentations by a select group of area non-profits. After dinner, guests joined the fun at the Town & Gown community concert featuring The Kunkle Family Band and Deep Blue Something.

About Town & Gown

Since 2018, AdventGX has been producing and hosting our beloved community’s annual Town & Gown celebration. Inspired by the town and gown traditions of notable university communities such as Oxford and Cambridge, we established our Town (community) and Gown (university) celebration here in Aggieland to bring together friends from Texas A&M University with those who work and serve outside academia.

We gather for an evening of fellowship and learn about the University and a few of the many non-profit organizations that serve needs across the Brazos Valley. The Town & Gown Celebration is not a fundraiser. It is a community development event that fosters strong local ties by bringing together groups that may otherwise not find themselves in the same space. Town & Gown builds connections across sectors, neighborhoods, and industries over a shared meal, a great cocktail, and memorable dance moves inspired by fabulous local musicians.
