Joan Quintana supported the University of Pittsburgh’s Center for Governance and Markets as a facilitator at the Reimagining Foreign Assistance forum held in New York City in May. The event gathered a relatively small group of subject matter experts who approached the problem from diverse perspectives. As a facilitator, Joan had the opportunity to help design the event to ensure that all voices were heard, identify the best questions to ask, and determine the most effective methods for engaging the group, all to ensure that the co-creation event achieved its stated objectives. For more insights into the event, read this article by Jacob Heilbrunn, a participant who shared his observations from the event in an article for National Interest.
