AdventGX Hosts Cyclopt Founder Andreas Symeonidis
AdventGX welcomed Andreas Symeonidis, faculty member at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, and research lead of Cyclopt, to Texas for a week of conversations spanning College Station and Austin. Traveling from Cyclopt headquarters in Thessaloniki, Greece, Andreas engaged with university leaders, investors, and innovation partners around software quality, AI-enabled development, cybersecurity, and cross-border collaboration.
The visit was facilitated by Jose Quintana, President of AdventGX, and included a roundtable panel at the Texas A&M Hotel and Conference Center, participation in the Global Cyber Research Institute (GCRI) Summit, and a lecture at Texas A&M University.
Throughout the week, Andreas and the AdventGX team met with prospective enterprise clients, investors, and public-sector leaders, including introductions to angel investors at the McFerrin Center for Entrepreneurship. The visit also included time for relationship-building, cultural exchange, and a working session at Ice House on Main focused on next-step collaboration.
The week concluded in Austin with meetings at Google and with leaders in the AI and venture ecosystem.
We’re grateful for the opportunity to help bridge international innovation with regional ecosystems and look forward to continued collaboration ahead.
