AdventGX executives participate in the inaugural Giant Magellan Gala

AdventGX executives participated in the inaugural Giant Magellan Galain Chicago, celebrating collaboration and innovation for the advancement of knowledge. Advent GX President Jose Quintana serves on the advisory council for the Mitchell Institute for Fundamental Physics and Astronomy at Texas A&M University and was invited to join the gala. Representatives from around the globe gathered at the Adler Planetarium to mark the extraordinary international cooperation that is enabling the development of the telescope.

Collaborating institutions for the Giant Magellan Telescope project include Texas A&M University, Weizmann Institute of Science, Academia Sinica Institute of Astronomy and Physics, University of Arizona, Arizona State University, Australian National University, Carnegie Science, Harvard University, University of Chicago, University of Texas, Northwestern University, Smithsonian, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and Korea Astronomy and Space Science Institute.
