AGX Plans Art Seminar, Show and Sale for Texas Mountain Region
As part of the rural economic development strategy being implemented in Van Horn, Texas, AdventGX is developing a seminar and art show series targeting regional artists. The pilot seminar and sale is slated for November 11-13 and will focus on providing regional artists with key business skills, from pricing their work to online promotion. The seminar and sale will feature the work of regional Texas artists that tell the story of the Texas Mountain region through paintings, sculpture and pottery. By supporting regional artists, AdventGX is encouraging the creation, exhibit and sale of artwork that depicts the rich heritage, culture and natural beauty of the Texas Mountain region.
Ricardo Solar's oil on canvass depicts a view from Van Horn of the Turtleback Mountain. These pieces will be among the work available for purchase during the Texas Mountain Art Seminar, Show & Sale in November.
