AGX Supporting Texas Mountain Apartment Complex Development
Earlier this year the Town of Van Horn Economic Development Corporation asked AdventGX to evaluate solutions to the community's low housing supply in light of immediate and growing demand from the new Border Patrol Office, Blue Origin's expanding operations, and Oil Exploration companies moving to the region. In November, following an assessment of the housing shortage, AdventGX proposed the development of an apartment complex financed under a convertible debenture model. The City Council approved the proposed concept and agreed to donate a city block near the County Hospital for the development of the complex. With the land committed, AdventGX is now managing the fundraising phase of the project and will be issuing debentures to interested parties. Van Horn Streetscape Design and Beautification Project Approved
Doctor Carson Watt and his son Jason Watt presented their recommendations for the Van Horn Streetscape Design and Beautification program to the Van Horn City Council during their November meeting. As part of a Texas Engineering Extension Service program, Van Horn received a technical assistance grant and AdventGX and Watt Landscaping conducted the research and developed recommendations for beautification as part of Van Horn's ongoing Economic and Tourism Development Initiative. Watt Landscaping presented a number of posters with streetscape designs, signature plants for the area and recommendations for welcome and business signs that will promote a sense of place and support the branding of the community. The City Council approved the concepts for inclusion in proposals to various entities to acquire the funds to implement the new concepts throughout the community.
The Screetscape Design and Beautification Project recommendations were presented on posters during a Van Horn City Council meeting. The Van Horn City Council reviewed the content of the posters.

AdventGX Visits Guadalupe Mountains National Park
AdventGX Lead Developer Aristo Setiawan and Jose Quintana took a short detour during their trip to Far Flung Outdoor Center (in Terlingua) and Van Horn to check progress on the Blue Origin Launch facility and spent Thanksgiving at Guadalupe Peak. During their hike to Devils Hall the night fell rapidly upon them creating a bit of an issue on their last mile hike back to the National Park Headquarters - never a dull moment for these two.
