that celebrates and presents the international community to Texas A&M
University and the Bryan/College Station community. This week offers
the opportunity for all Aggies and B/CS residents to enjoy and discover
the wonders existing close to home.

What is a wailing wall? Who are the
Peranakens? When is Tet? Come discover the global cultures found right
on campus! Each booth represents one of the many international student
associations who actively create events to share their culture with
the rest of the A&M community. This is a great event for the family
as each booth will have special activities for children and adults alike!

International Buffet is one of the
highlights of I-Week every year. Featuring international cuisine from
over 15 different countries, everybody can enjoy the aromas and the
delicacies of foods found all over the globe. This year’s 2006 I-Week
features an array of associations that have courteously prepared to
share a bit of their culture with the world. Tickets can be purchased
at the MSC Box Office.

If you owned your own country, what
would your flag look like? Come to the MSC to see how the young people
of our community construed this question through different mediums of
artwork. Also, enjoy the artistic interpretations of our theme Self
Reflections from members of our Aggie family.

International personalities will
congregate at this luncheon to celebrate the diversity of cultures found
on our campus. The world is becoming more and more global in its endeavors
and this luncheon introduces the opportunity to the A&M community
to observe and witness history in the making. Invitation only.

Aggies will have the opportunity
to use their hands to create different crafts from all the regions of
the world. In conjunction with MSC’s Aggie Nights, international students
will display their cultures in a fun and unique way. For more information

How much have you experienced global
cultures? Come to the International Variety Show and experience the
culture that can’t be found in a textbook! Our international associations
will compete for your approval through on-stage performances, and at
the same time, prepare to be amazed with the outstanding display of
traditional attires by members of the international community. Although
this is annual event, this particular show is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity!

This marks the culmination of an
entire year’s effort with a remarkable awards ceremony. During the
event, awards will be presented to the most outstanding associations
and individuals involved during I-Week 2006. Relive the moments of the
preparation and presentations of each organization and come help us
celebrate a successful week!
This is an annual publication by the International Student Association launched during I-Week and disseminated throughout the year.
