Preserving history and fostering education are central to the PCMH Auxiliary Memorial Garden. The Garden will be located on the south side of the hospital and will be covered with native West Texas plants and trees.

Fort Stockton has a great history made up of wonderful people that have left their mark on our life. This project will not only remember us but those great personalities that have made Fort Stockton the place it is today. It is very important that our future generations know those who have gone before.

The garden will focus on developing knowledge about the West Texas ecosystem, a concern for conservation through critical thinking skills, provide new skills in wild-scaping, plant and wildlife identification along with the historical and cultural heritage of Fort Stockton.
